Toothache Relief UK
English people are certainly not known for their straight,
pearly white teeth.
If Americans get made
fun of for being overweight, then those across the pond get
teased for having bad teeth.
But all of this makes one wonder. Regarding toothache
relief, UK-ers hopefully are experts!
38% of 5-yr-olds in England suffer from tooth
decay.
That is not a great start to things,
is it?
But why is this?
It’s a pretty complicated issue. Many people who sport a
not-so-attractive set of teeth lived during times of rationing
(World War 1 and World War II). After World War II, the
National Health Service improved dental care for Britons but
there are still some hang-ups, especially when it comes to
children getting braces.
As well, there isn’t as much of an obsession with the
appearance of teeth in the UK as there is here in the States.
Crooked teeth are simply not as big of an issue as they are in
America.
But concerning toothache relief, UK-ers aren’t in the dark.
There’s no reason to believe that dentistry in the UK is
substandard – just that the individual priorities of UK-ers are
different than those of U.S. citizens. It’s safe to assume
those in England and other surrounding countries know just what
they are doing, dentists and patients alike and that pain
relief and other dental surgeries and practices are just as
intact as they are here.
